April 6th 2016

The splendour of Manchester Town Hall provided the venue for Manchester & Cheshire Construction's first Family Day, which brought together all of the staff for a series of team-building events and presentations.

The firm took over the Conference Hall for the day, which began with a reception and breakfast at 8am.

Managing director Dave Lowe, business development director Chris Purcell and chairman Peter Collins all gave presentations to staff during the course of the day.

The guest speakers were content marketing specialist David Lomas, health and safety expert Dave Massey and Jill Robertson, head teacher at Offley Primary School, Sandbach, Cheshire.

In between these sessions there were team-building games and fun activities, including some light-hearted Manchester & Cheshire Construction Awards!

Company founders Charlie Lowe and John Purcell also attended the event with their wives, Audrey and Joan.

Dave Lowe said:

'It was a great event which was appreciated by everyone in the business.'

'The key theme running through the day was the important role played by each and every member of staff, especially in regards to our good name and reputation in the market.'

'As the business grows, it is important that everyone is fully aware of our company ethos, and we also wanted our staff to know what we will be looking for in the future so that they can share in our vision and aspirations.'
