Quadruple Framework Success

Salford based Manchester and Cheshire Construction have been appointed to four new construction frameworks in little over a month. They are;
• Cheshire East Borough Council low value framework (works up to £500k)
• Procure Plus – high rise external works
• The North West Construction Hub low value framework (works up to £500k)
• The Ministry of Justice minor works framework
The successes are a welcome boost in these difficult economic times as Managing Director David Lowe explains;
'With public spending being slashed frameworks such as this are where the vast majority of money is going to be spent and we've put ourselves in an excellent position. It’s great to see SME's such as ourselves getting a chance to prove ourselves on frameworks which historically have been the preserve of large regional or national contractors.'
Previous experience has played a key role in the company's success as Lowe explains;
'We've worked for three of the four organisations previously which obviously helped our submissions as we know their unique requirements and were able to tailor our responses very specifically.'
