Brick Cleaning and Re-pointing Scheme successfully negotiated with Willow Park Housing Trust
December 14th 2009
Following the successful completion of phase one, Manchester and Cheshire Construction have successfully negotiated phase two of a brick cleaning and re-pointing scheme for Willow Park Housing Trust. The work includes brick cleaning, re-pointing and associated brickwork repairs to approximately 600 traditionally built pre-war properties in the Crossacres area of south Manchester.
The award is welcome news especially in the current climate as director David Lowe explains;
'We are delighted to have negotiated these extra works and see it as a reward for all the effort we have put into phase one over the past 12 months. In particular our site supervisor has performed extremely well and his resident liaison skills are second to none. His performance was recognised with a 'Beyond Compliance' award from the Considerate Constructors Scheme. The combined value of the two phases is in excess of £1.25million.'
