Listed Buildings
Replacing slate roof coverings and roof glazing on the Grade II listed Whitworth Art Gallery without disruption to the operation of the gallery, or damage to the building and it’s valuable contents, presented a major challenge. Manchester and Cheshire Construction responded effectively and worked closely with consultants Rider Levett Bucknall and University staff to develop carefully planned procedures for carrying out the work.
